Our Story
You're probably wondering how we got here & honestly its been quite a surreal and amazing journey.
Meet Phil & Tawnee, two lovebirds with a deep nostalgia for what we now know really was "the good ol' days". They wanted to create a space that brought back the feeling of "Cheers"& F•R•I•E•N•D•S - think less computer-forward, more human interaction.
Tawnee comes from Washington State, which is probably about as glamourous as it sounds. Being from the Pacific North West gave her a love of coffee & cozy treats that has been unmatched by whatever side-quest hobby she's tried. Growing up around the adventure of the forest, constant rain & moody grunge vibes - coffee was a guarantee career path that she almost outran if it weren't for her incredible husband, Phil.
Cue Phil, the San Diego beachside raised Marine turned MRI technologist & he is the backbone of this company. They really mean it when they say "When you're in a time of need, call a Marine!" He is the one keeping Tawnee on track & is the soul reason for this dream becoming a reality.
